About the Author

Michael D. Callaghan

I began programming in 1981, when a generous high school teacher let me borrow time on the county's HP 2000 mini-computer to teach myself BASIC. That early spark ignited a lifelong passion for software development.

Throughout my career, I've contributed to projects at HP, Compaq, Dell, Disney, and various startups. I've recently jumped headfirst into AI, particularly fascinated by how Large Language Models can enhance professional workflows—you can see that in my P-AI-R Programming series. My fiction includes Silent Entry, a tech-driven mystery, and Her Last Note, a literary ghost story.

I'm also a trainer and educator. My courses have been published on Pluralsight and Udemy, reflecting my commitment to making complex topics accessible.
